Introducing Bananagrams, the ultimate word game that will drive you bananas with excitement! This fast-paced and addictive game is a must-have for all board game fans.

Bananagrams falls into the category of word games, but it’s not your ordinary crossword puzzle. It’s a game that will challenge your vocabulary skills and keep you on your toes. The best part? There’s no board! All you need is a flat surface and a bunch of letter tiles to get started.

The rules are simple: each player takes a set number of tiles and races against the clock to create their own crossword grid. The catch? You can rearrange your words as many times as you want, making it a frantic and hilarious race to finish first. And when you’re stuck, just yell “Peel!” and grab a new tile from the bunch.

Bananagrams is not only a brilliant gift for word enthusiasts, but also for anyone who loves a good challenge. It’s perfect for game nights with friends and family, or even for solo play when you’re feeling competitive. Plus, it’s compact and portable, making it an ideal game to take on trips or to liven up a dull evening.

So, if you’re looking for a gift that will bring laughter, creativity, and friendly competition to the table, look no further than Bananagrams. Get ready to go bananas and unleash your inner wordsmith!

This seems to have become our “default” game as a family now as we all enjoy it so much! My youngest is 10 (and has been playing it since around the age of 7 or 8, with a little help) and my eldest is 22, so it’s a good game to bring the whole family together – even my dad, who mostly hates things like board games, seemed to have fun when we got him playing! It’s easy to learn the rules and anyone who is literate can play it, including primary aged children if they have a reasonably good vocabulary and can spell.

The physical game itself is very nicely made, with tiles which have a very satisfying feel to them (nice and smooth, and they make a satisfying sound when you place them on a hard surface or rustle the bag!), and a very handy and uniquely designed bag they come packaged in, which seems to be well made (my older daughter has now owned her set for about 5 years and the bag is still going strong).

It’s a great game to take on your travels, as it’s fairly small & light, with no excess packaging, and the soft fabric bag squishes into awkward spaces in luggage easily. Just be careful not to lose any tiles!

I suppose the only downside is it’s not the most sociable game in some respects, as each player tends to be “in their own world” when focused on the game, so you’re not really interacting much with each other for a lot of the gameplay, but it at least gets everyone around the table engaged in an activity together, which can be hard enough in itself sometimes! And in fact the low demand for interaction can suit some people, we have some autistic family members who don’t always want to be forced into more “full on” social interaction so this is a nice “bridge” activity to get everyone together.

When my older daughter left home and took her set with her we bought another one for our youngest, as we missed having the game in the house.

love this game. We’ve played it as a family for years and it can be easily adapted to suit different ages and abilities. I think it is much easier than scrabble but still keeps the joy of that skill. I have found it a really easy game to teach others and it takes up very little space to take on holidays. Great gift!

  3. Mr. Handy

Games was easy to play and our family had a great time.

Bought for daughter who lives abroad. She loves this game and the easiness of it fitting into her bags means she takes it every where

  5. John Sadikot

Perfect word game and a lot less monotonous than Scrabble.

Got this for my 88 year old mom after her therapist suggested it to help with regaining cognitive function after she had a medical event. Great fun for both of us.

This has seem to become one of those games we find ourselves playing most days!

It’s a great game to take on your travels, as it’s fairly small & light, with no excess packaging, and the soft fabric bag squishes into awkward spaces in luggage easily. We take ours away in our caravan every time! Just be careful not to lose any tiles!

Our family love this portable game and play at home and when away camping/on holiday. Great to play with bigger groups and versatile to play variations. We love it. Good price.

  11. Amazon Customer

Easy game to play. Great for youngsters as it requires no grid and can be changed as words are thought of

  12. Jennifer Davis

I love that the instructions are sewn into the banana. The tiles are smooth and easy to use.

My family played with this game at Christmas and it went down really well. Great fun game. Nice and compact to carry on holidays etc and great zip case containing the tiles. Would recommend.
