The beers all taste great. I had 5 of them and the one with Grapefruit was tried by somebody else (I can’t have it for medical reasons) and they assure me that it was very nice. I’m not going to write a review of each individual beer as they are all sold together as one product. The box the cans came in was very sturdy and they’re all neatly in their own little compartment as sown in the product images. The glass which came with the set is a nice touch. I’d say it was definitely a nice gift to buy for somebody else or if you just want to sample a cross-section of the BrewDog product range. In terms of value for money, I guess it works out as roughly comparable to buying the cans individually from a supermarket plus factoring in a few pounds for the glass. It’s a nice little set and I would recommend it therefore.

I’m a big fan of everything Brewdog does, and the ethical way in which they do it. They have a better range than any other brewing company I’m aware of, and this gift set contains some of their best. Always good to have some Elvis Juice in the fridge.
There is a good selection of strengths, ranging from 3.8% to 6.5%. While these won’t keep even the occasional drinker going for very long, the pint glass makes for a nice keepsake for any beer drinker. The set comes nicely presented and is an ideal gift for anyone into their ales.

I don’t drink alcohol much at all…but my partner does and he’s familiar with a few Brewdog varieties, so I let him sample each (quaffed from the included Brewdog tall glass).
Listed, in order of drinking:
Elvis Juice – His first IPA sample. Partner doesn’t like grapefruit juice. BUT this grapefruit-infused Elvis Juice reminds him of Hoegaarden, but with grapefruit instead of orange. Not overpowering and a nice sipping beer. Quite smooth, not overly sharp taste.
Punk IPA – ‘The beer that started it all’. A woody, earthy, hoppy aroma to the nose, says boyfriend. There’s a caramelised sweetness. More subtle hint of grapefruit with this one, compared to Elvis Juice. Has the perfect IPA bitter spiciness.
Dead Pony Club – ‘Saddle Up For Session’ it says on the side of the can, referring to it being a Session IPA. This one is new to my partner. Easy-drinking, not for sipping. Very hoppy, quite light, citrusy and fresh. Not quite a ‘full’ IPA as it has a subtle spiciness. A tinge of grapefruit in DPC, too. He likes it, but not his favourite compared to the previous two. One he’d reach for to cool and quench his thirst on a hot day.
Planet – Another Brewdog IPA he hasn’t tried till today. Lots going on. Has a very light colour (next to the previous three). Hops are more subtle, not as malty but bursting with flavour. Tastes of lemon and has floral notes. Light and easy on the palette. Tastiest so far and his favourite.
Lost Lager – Not an IPA, but a Lager (obviously!) – this is one he knows well and likes. “Mellow, give us a kebab, I love you”, he says XD (he was getting drunk by this stage). Light, really easy to drink. A drinking lager. Planet is still his favourite, though Lost Lager was his number one Brewdog IPA previously.
Hazy Jane – Another he was familiar with and buys from time to time, but hasn’t had for a while. He says he can discern apricot in his nose (Brewdog says Stonefruit, Tangerine, Pineapple and Mango!). Pale orangey hazy (hence the name) liquid.
This set is a great gift idea if you require an easy option you know the recipient will like. At current pricing, a tad overpriced but every can was much appreciated by my partner.
The extra Brewdog-branded glass is handy, as he’s always breaking them….!

My husband is a keen Brewdog /IPA fan and likes most of their range so this was a perfect gift for him. He isn’t vegan but does actually have issues with dairy so it’s good to know that a lot of their range is vegan anyway.
At the time of reviewing, it was on offer from £21.99 to £20.07 for the 6 beers and a pint glass.
So is it worth it?
As you probably already know, gift sets always work out more expensive than buying the items individually – but it’s the fact it’s an assorted range in a gift box* with the glass as a ready made package – is what you are paying for.
I worked it out that the pint glass on their site is around £4 or so and the individual beers work out a lot cheaper BUT if you aren’t Prime then you would have to pay another £5 postage on their site. Which almost.. adds up to the £20 cost of the gift box.
It’s convenient.
*However… I would have liked to have almost had an inner box or inner lid as a gift box as the whole postal box is the gift box itself. Slightly picky perhaps? But presentation is the key as if that box gets bashed around in transit then it might not look as nice.
I’m thinking that it would even be nice to pop a keyring in the gift sets (or something extra that you can’t get off the shelf) just to make the value seem more worthy.

This is a perfectly packaged set of 6 cans of varying Brew Dog IPA along with a branded pint glass.
Each can is 330ml and the different IPA’s have names like Dead Pony Club, and Elvis Juice, each has its own taste, and they vary quite greatly.
I’m not much of a drinker, so I got these for my partner who enjoys a pint (or ten), and they didn’t last long. They are varying strengths too, some being quite light drinking, others heavier.
He enjoyed the variety, some more so than others, but overall, they all went down a treat.
This is a great selection to give as a gift and would be appreciated by most IPA lovers.

Loved this set! The mix of beers was spot-on and the glass is a nice quality touch. Makes a perfect gift for any craft beer lover.

This is a nice set from Brewdog containing most of their big hitters with Hazy Jane and Elvis Juice being favourites of mine as I do like a sour beer.
They are vegan but I think Brewdog beer is vegan in general due to their process.
You also get a nice pint glass with the Brewdog logo.
It’s just the price that seems hard to justify, even if you paid top dollar for the beer it still puts the glass at over ten quid.
