Playing with the meerkats was definitely a great destress activity. Zoo keeper was so lovely and very knowledgeable answering all questions we asked. Was a gift from my son and it was perfect highly appreciated and would recommend anyone thinking about it to do it.

I would recommend this experience to all ages,we had a lovely day walking around the zoo and looking at all the other animals.staff were very friendly and polite.we spent an hour in 2 meercat enclosures,one indoors and one outside.what lovely little cute characters they were,we fed them and they climbed on us,sat on us and made us all laugh.the girl who took the six of us on our experience was very knowledgeable and great at her job too.a great experience had by us both,thanks Hoo Zoo!!

Great day out. First impressions were a bit low key. But we two fifty something ladies had a brilliant day! Easy to spend 3or 4 hours aside from the meerkats. Lots of interesting smaller animals, loved the dinosaur walk, good facilities- nothing posh, but all very nice.
Meerkat experience was awesome! Very knowledgeable keeper, really enthusiastic- both her and the meerkats! Lots of interaction, strokes, and feeding. Would definitely recommend. 😁

The Meerkat experience was wonderful and we were able to go in 3 different enclosures with the animals and feed them. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were also able to visit the rest of the zoo which was a delight and exceeded our expectations.

I booked the meerkat experience for my partner and I and we had the best time. Getting to feed and be so close to the meerkats was amazing and I can’t believe just how affectionate they were. We were lucky enough to feed the lemurs too which was brilliant (if you don’t like animals jumping on you then don’t do this).
Emily was our zoo keeper and she was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about her job and the animals there. She was so nice to talk to and was very helpful and informative.

Had a brilliant time at Hoo Zoo! We got to feed Meerkats, they were so cute and full of personality, and also a very cheeky Lemur…the other one being happy to stay curled up in the warm. Kirsty our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. Kirsty made sure all in our group got plenty of opportunities to interact with the animals…and safely. We’d highly recommend this experience!

Meerkat experience enjoyed every minute love the meerkats so nosey and they loved the mealworms also went in with the lemurs what fun characters it was a very cold day so all animals wanted to stay in bed would defiantly to the experience again but will choose warmer weather still great day and would defiantly recommend
