Amazing to see behind the scenes at the zoo. We were lucky to get close to the baby rhino which was adorable.
The staff work extremely hard and were very friendly. Whilst helping the keepers with their morning work they will give you lots of information about the animals. My son and I had a fantastic day but be prepared for a lot of mucking out!! Would definitely recommend this experience.

I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend and we had a great day! We spent the morning with Grace and Kieran, the African keepers, and they were so knowledgeable and super friendly. You get to get so close to the animals, and everyone you speak to knows so much about the animals they look after. The zoo felt like it was more for the animals than the customers, which we did enjoy as you got the feeling that the staff really care about the animals and all have great attachments to them.

Haven’t had the experience yet, its quite hard work trying to book just by email, when you have to wait 48+ hours for a reply, only to be told that you can’t have that date! Then you have to email again with different dates and wait again!!

Great day from start to finish. Mucking out cleaning cages feeding animals, being able to get up close to many animals and fell in love woth the rhinos especially. Guided were excellent and full of information on animals. Wish i lived neater so i could go regular.
Feed experiences also great thing to do to get up close and personel, never done this before but will do again.
