I love this travel mug better than my Ember! I placed hot coffee in this travel mug at 7:00 am. It was still hot almost 3 hours later. The seal on this cup is extraordinary. It held the original temperature of my coffee longer than I anticipated. I’ve NEVER had a travel mug work as well as this one. The color is gorgeous! I love natural brown tones. This travel has a chocolaty bronze exterior.

I purchased this because I wanted to break the habit to buying hot drinks whenever I’m out and this has been great in helping me do so. The thermos genuinely does keep your drink hot for hours. And I do understand what the other reviews say about it being ‘too hot’ sometimes, but I guess that’s expected. I would recommend that before you seal your hot drink you leave the lid unlocked for 5-10mins depending on when abouts you want to have your drink.
Unfortunately mine didn’t pass the 100% leakproof test, so I wouldn’t recommend tossing it in a bag. The mouthpiece seal works great but the liquid can still get through the actual lid. Personally, this is not a huge problem for me as have a little slot in my bag that keeps the bottle upright but just something to bare in mind if it’s important for others.
Cleaning is fine if you know what you’re doing, you have to play around with the mechanics of the Autoseal a little bit. I’ve had mine for a few weeks and the colour hasn’t eroded like I’ve seen being said in other reviews.
Overall, a great thermos to keep your drink warm. Would recommend 🙂

I love this flask. I use it for work, for a quick brew on my first break – so I fill the flask at about 7:15am and my break is anytime between 11-11:30am and my tea is still hot and perfect to drink! I wanted to mention that as I have bought flasks before that have advertised that they keep drinks hot for 8 hours and even 2 hours in the drink is only warm.
Before I used it, I did fill it with water and turn it upside down, shook it etc and not a drop leaked out. I feel totally confident that if it was to fall over in my bag or locker or whatever that no liquid would come out at all.
I also really like the button feature – you press it to open the bit you drink from and as soon as you let to of th3 button it seals it tightly shut again. So if you were to put it down anywhere between taking sips and you knocked it over, no spillage will happen at all.
Lastly, it is really easy to take apart to clean and also stays cool to the touch at all times – even when you have just filled it with boiling water, it never feels even slightly warm to hold and so you can put it in lunch bag and not worry about any heat from it affecting anything else in there.

It is a great cup, it keeps tea and coffee warm for a really long time.
The lid is great as well, no leaks whatsoever!
I bought two, one for coffee and the other one for tea.
One thing to notice is that it’s almost impossible to wash the coffee after taste from the plastic mechanism, but it’s a great cup anyway.

Sturdy, clever design with easy to use mechanism – push button release on the ‘spout’ at the rear of the mug, keeps hot drinks hot for a decent amount of time, enough capacity for around 2 “normal” full cups of coffee. Definitely recommend.

Having had many travel mugs over the years I was not too hopeful this this would be ‘leakproof’ But. . . it really is! This
mug is easy to clean and great to use. I tried shaking it vigorously and not a drop escaped in my bag. I am so pleased with it. Not only is it leakproof but it keeps the coffee inside warm for hours. Would definitely recommend.

I like how you can grab it and just squeeze the big oval button on the side to drink (where your fingertips are anyway), release it and it’s back to being spillproof – no snapping open and closed. Mine lost its insulation ability somehow after a few months (never happened on other Westloops I’ve had) and Contigo just shipped me a new one! Note that one version has a slightly tapered bottom which, for me, is important because my favorite car’s cupholders fit that one but not the untapered version.

Really good, doesn’t leak when you forget to keep it upright, only down side which others have mentioned is, as it’s so good at keeping your drink warm it can be too warm for you to drink…..

Bought for wife as I’ve already had one for a year or two.
These cups are really good, I’ve had loads of different ones and this is by far the best.
Drinks stay hot for hrs in these, I’ve not measured exactly how long, but I’ve had a coffee 6 hrs after making it and it was still very hot.
The lid has a clever push button to open the valve to drink from, and has a lock switch so that you can stop it from accidentally opening.
I’ve laid this down in my work bag and not had any leakage.
I’ve also dropped my one a few times which doesn’t seem to have done any harm.
It’s also easy to clean.
