Really nice novelty version for kids, the board is a 3D board so you need to construct it but it’s not difficult or time consuming at all. The little playing tokens that come with it are so cute, makes a really nice gift at a great price!

As always Hasbro hit amazing standards with their monopoly board games. I got this as a gift and they absolutely love it, i think that I like it more than the child I got it for.
So where do I start? The concept of the dice! there isn’t a dice with this game its a minion clutching a banana! Now how cool is that. It’s new and different and that what I like about Hasbro with their products, they always try to bring something new into something old school. The only problem I had with the concept of the dice is that sometimes you cant tell what number it lands on and its a close call so you’ll have a few arguments.
Other than that this is a great game and a definite buy! it may be for children but I think it can be played at all ages!

What a great idea – no dice to lose, great little minion characters to move around the board. Quality materials, great fun and easy to follow instructions. Two really picky criticisms: To take the items out of their packaging e.g. money, chance cards, cup cakes etc, it’s hard not to ruin the packaging, and so it is not easy to keep these items safe and separate from the other items when packing the game away. The other criticism is that they could have printed a few more notes for the ‘Banana Bucks’ as occasionally my sons bankrupt the Bank – still, if professionals can do it, so too can children!

I bought this for my 4 year old. She LOVES it.
The game is a very simplistic version of Monopoly. It’s not the 4-8 hour cutthroat deathmatch you’re used to from when you played with your friends/siblings. The first thing I noticed was that each set of properties was reduced to 2 instead of 3. Railroads and Utilities are out. Community Chest is gone and there is only Chance. With that said, the playing board is much smaller. Instead of dice, you get a spinning Minion that lands on the number of spaces you move. This means no addition between two die. There’s also only one denomination of the currency, Banana Bucks. Houses and hotels are replaced by cupcakes and sundaes. When you own one property, it gets a cupcake. When you get the matching property, the cupcake is upgraded to a sundae and you get the higher rent value. All of this makes it super easy for a 4 year old to pick up. The only part of the game she can’t do on her own is read the Chance cards (when we were done, she did make me read every Chance card to her). Every other aspect of the game was easy enough for her to grasp.
This game is very well done. It’s fun and educational. I could not be more pleased with how much my daughter liked this game. Older kids would probably think this is too simple/easy. However, considering how brutal standard Monopoly can get, perhaps everyone should stick to these simplified versions.

Meine Freundin ist ein Minion-Fan und Sie hatte sich das Spiel gewünscht. Es macht viel Spaß und man lacht auch als Erwachsener sehr beim spielen. Die Runden sind jedoch sehr viel kürzer, als im original Monopoly. Die Regeln sind auch sehr einfach. Für Kinder und Minion-Fans eine tolle Sache 😀

Great for learning, my son is 4 and we have bought him loads of little games and stuff to keep him amused during lockdown.
He has picked this up easily and asks to play it most days, certainly worth buying if you have young kids.
Added bonus he loves the minions after meeting them at universal studios

My 6 year old son played this at a friend’s house and loved it so I bought him one for his birthday.
I like that it’s easy to set up, easy instructions, doesn’t take anywhere near as long as normal monopoly.
I wish the box was more organised though. There’s nowhere to put anything so the cards, money, cupcakes and sundaes get all mixed up.

I bought this for my fiance for xmas as he loves minions and loves monopoly. Fast delivery, great product. I bought it based on that it was monopoly and didnt notice it came with small figures of the minions …. i was really impressed when it arrived and cant wait to see my Fiance’s face when he opens it for xmas x

Este monopoly está dirigido hacia un público más infantil. Pero aun así pasarás un buen rato jugando. Las partidas no son demasiado largas, pero eso depende del gusto de cada uno es mejor o peor. Una pena que no traigan más tokens, son muy graciosos.
