I never write reviews… but this was an absolute gem to stumble across whilst looking for “gifts for grandad” at Christmas. What was intended as a gift for him, has actually served as the gift for myself I would never have known I needed! I assumed the pages in this book would be blank but the pre-written questions (many of which I have never even thought to ask) have provided us both with nostalgia, intrigue, wisdom, humour and sarcasm I didn’t even know lurked in my grandad! I will truly treasure this book. I am very grateful, not only that my grandad’s memory at 89 and 3/4 have been able to fill the pages (and then some) but to have had the book with those pages in to begin with! Recommended to everyone!

The questions were meaningful and inciteful (a way to have my grandads memories documented), such as ‘tell me about your earliest memories/really me about your paternal/maternal family/what were chores you had to do as a child that don’t need to be done today/etc.
The book itself is a nice hardback meaning it’s presented nicely and won’t look tired after writing in it and rereading it in the future.
Will be buying the respective ones for other members of the family for future birthdays/holidays/etc
