I bought this for my dad for Christmas, and a few days ago we went for the tour. I’m sorry to see some bad reviews on here because we really enjoyed it. If you are expecting to see original Spitfires then you will be disappointed, read the product description because what you will see and hear about are the new Supermarine Spitfire MK 26B, a modern take on the original. Paul was our guide and it’s so obvious how much he loves and wants to pay tribute to the Spitfire and everyone involved in flying, testing and making them. Their aim is to build a whole squadron and be able to take them to events around the country. Yes, it’s a bit rough and ready at the moment, but you can tell they are building it up and the money raised by Adopt a Spitfire will help towards that. They are installing a Spitfire simulator soon. We traveled from South Wales and will happily visit again in the future and support such a great idea.

This was a gift so couldn’t tell you if it was currently successful to actually go and see your adopted spitfire what with all the covids and all. However it was nicely received. I also got the pilot manual with it which made a nice combination.

Brought for my world war II plane super fan nephew, who was extremely excited about it, the benefits of this product not only supports the wonderful work in keeping these wonderful planes looked after and there for many generations to learn about our history. It also gives many great memories for the recipient, now thinking of getting another for my dad as he was also keen on it.
In short if you have someone who loves these aircraft don’t hesitate this is perfect and not overly expensive I would have happily paid up to £25 for this considering what is included and what it supports, so definitely worth the price!

Got for my father and was excellent value for money. Loved all the bits inside and took him to the spitfire tour which is in the package and loved it.
