Our visit to Elmwood equestrian centre was a calm and pleasant one despite our anticipations, since it was our first time riding horses and visiting Burnham-on-crouch. Anne and other team members were good hosts. I particularly liked that Anne made us feel very welcome. I love that she also suggested other places to visit close to the centre. As suggested by Anne, we went to the seafront front after our horse rides and views atmosphere made our experience wonderful. ?? What a lovely new memory thanks Anne.????

Not all places advertised accepted vouchers so had to travel 4hrs to use them. When we got there werent made ti feel welcome by provider, like our attendance was an inconvenience. Horses were lovely, scenery beautiful and kids and i enjoyed the actual hack but whole experience could have been better.wont be purchasing again and wouldnt recommend to others.best to book directly with a local stables. Buy a gift recommend you update this listing.

Bought this for my sister as birthday present as she always talks how she love horses, but she never ridden one. Decided to go with her to keep her company, was a bit afraid of the horses, but once I spent some time with the horse I was relaxed and happy that I give it a go. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed and helps you feel confident around horses. The park where we had a walk was nice too. Me and my sister will definitely be going back again! Thank you Goulds Green for such nice experience!

I don’t know where to begin but the whole experience was absolutely brilliant. My 4 yr old and 8 yr old girls both had a great time. The stables leaders and volunteers were on hand to welcome us and assign horses. The Pony Club volunteers led each of the riders through a grooming demonstration and saddled the pony’s ready for riding making sure everything was safe and secure. The riders were lent hats if they did not have their own (mine didn’t) and the hats were clean and all equipment sterilised between use. After mounting the volunteers led the horses with riders to the arena area where the leader led the riders through a series of manoeuvres on the horses each tailored to the rider’s abilities. Everyone was welcoming. Please don’t forget to bring a little cash to tip as the volunteers who lead the horses are there for their fun and learning too (all very experienced riders, all young ladies who volunteer to the stables in their spare time). I really cannot fault anything about the experience at all and even when ny eldest was unsure and wanted to dismount everyone was so helpful and reassuring.
