What’s not to like?
Monopoly play but with Beetlejuice characters instead of streets, and the money and metal tokens are Beetlejuice themed. The tokens are great, well made and detailed, the board is printed really well and looks quality.
My newly gothed up daughter (thanks Wednesday) is currently Beetlejuice obsessed so this will be our after Christmas dinner family game, and i’m really looking forward to it for a change!!

I love board games with my friends and wanted this one for my collection. I can’t wait to take it out for our game day. Great price and it can be an amazing gift for a fan.

This is such an awesome twist to everyone’s favourite board game. Not only does it make a brilliant collectors items but is a great gift idea for beetlejuice fans.
The board game is well presented with large Beetlejuice artwork in the centre and each square representing characters and vehicles rather than streets and transport stations.
The best thing about it is the metal game pieces, including wedding dress, handbook of the recently deceased, skeleton key, beetlejuices tomb stone, Lydia’s camera and Charles Deetz binoculars. The houses are your standard monopoly pieces, which is a bit of a shame, I would have hoped for a more themed approach but nevertheless this is a great themed board game!

This Beetlejuice Monopoly board game arrives sealed in a very nice looking, Beetlejuice themed box. Inside is the game board, and all the cards, dice, money, tokens and pieces needed to play the game, stored in a well thought out plastic tray insert. There is also a set of instructions.
This game is just standard monopoly (with all the pros and cons that entails), that has been themed around the film, Beetlejuice. So instead of properties on the board, your have characters from the movie; instead of “Community Chest” and “Chance” cards you have “Haunting” and “Occurrence” cards, and so on.
The artwork throughout is excellent, the quality of the board, cards, etc. is very good, and the metal tokens are well made and nice and distinct from one another. There are a few missed opportunities though, such as although houses and hotels are remained “Haunted Houses” and “Paranormal Museums”, the actual plastic pieces are no different from standard monopoly houses and hotels. And the dice are plane old plastic dice, instead of dice that have more of a spooky design to them.
In conclusion, this is a well made, Beetlejuice themed version of Monopoly, that will be loved by any Beetlejuice fan who wants to play Monopoly, and as such it gets 5 stars. However, if you were hoping for an alternative version of monopoly’s rule set to go along with that Beetlejuice theming, then this isn’t for you.

Classic monopoly except that instead of buying streets you’re buying Beetlejuice characters. The playing pieces are solid metal and seem well made. They include a gravestone, handbook for the recently deseaced, camera, binoculars, key and wedding dress. A good present for a Tim Burton /Beetlejuice fan.

Everything about this seems to be good quality but it’s going to be a surprise Christmas present for someone who loves board games and is a fan of the film. I have a strong suspicion we’ll be playing it during the Christmas period so will update this review after that time. I’m almost as excited about giving this as a present as the recipient will be to receive it!

This is a ‘Beetlejuice’ edition of the Monopoly board game. It comes in a stylish reworking of the standard box design, and includes the board itself, cards, dice, money and play pieces, stored in a plastic tray insert, along with a set of instructions.
It plays exactly like the regular Monopoly, but instead of Community Chest and Chance cards it has ‘Haunting’ and ‘Occurrence’ cards instead, instead of houses and hotels it has ‘Haunted Houses’ and ‘Paranormal Museums’, and instead of the Iron and Dog etc it features a Wedding Dress, ‘Handbook for the Recently Deceased’, a Tombstone, Key, Camera, and Binoculars.
The set feels well made, and the board is sturdy enough to endure plenty of use. The Beetlejuice theme works really well, and this would make a great present for any fans of the movie or just board game fans after something with a spooky twist.
