My two children went on this experience and had a lovely time. They got up close to the meerkats and loved it. James was very knowledgable and was great with the kids.
The site is a small independent falconry centre and had an amazing number of birds to see. There was a falconry show, which unfortunately we were unable to stay for but we will be back! The experience entitles you to all day access and you are able to come and go as you please.

Very enjoyable experience at Millets Farm park in Oxfordshire where a family of 4 Meerkats were allowed to scramble over our (covered) legs for 30 minutes whilst we fed them worms by large tweezers during which we listened to the keeper telling us all about them and meerkats in general. Would definitely do the experience again.

Great experience, even my husband enjoyed it. Sat in small room with the meerkats, given tweezers to feed meal worms to meerkats. Young lady running it was very knowledge on the meerkats, both those present ant the wild ones and talked for the whole time. Also she was very attentitive with passing the meal worms around to everyone there.

I recently visited Millets Farm and had the pleasure of experiencing the Meerkat Encounter. I was incredibly impressed by the entire experience! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the meerkats and able to answer all my questions. The time I spent with these adorable creatures was definitely worth it, as I got to see them up close, feed them and learn about their behaviours, would definitely visit again and recommend it to friends and family.

The only thing I would say is that it is only a very small group of Meerkats (5) and there were 8 people on the experience so either more meerkats or less people would have been preferable but nevertheless I would still highly recommend.

Such a lovely thing to do on a Sunday afternoon! We enjoyed half hour inside the meerkat enclosure with 5 cheeky rascals! Their keeper was friendly, delivered lots of interesting facts about them and allowed us to feed them the whole time we were there. We also had entry to look at everything else and spend time in the Wildside area, which was also great. What an excellent time we had, especially for the price! Even better knowing that the cost goes direct to them to help fund the meerkats!

Meeting the Meerkats was a great experience, we got to feed them, stroke them gently and watch them cheekily charge around our knees and ankles. We shared it with 6 other people and the Trainer was very knowleadgable and clear in her instructions and information.A great day out with watching Birds of prey and other creatures such as racoons, otters, marmosets and butterflies. Only negative is that the voucher wasn’t any less than booking direct.

I booked this as a meerkat experience for my partner. I had done a little research and could see that Millets Wildside was a falconry. The meerkat experience was amazing and we were also shown a bird display which was incredible. Outside of millers Wildside, we’re some farmyard animals, a farmers market and a ginormous Webb’s. It was unexpected but definitely recommend going and it’s a full day out for the whole family.

Lovely staff. The experience was brilliant, the meerkats jump up and around you for their food. Lasted around 30 minutes. Loved seeing them up close and would definitely do this experience again at the same location. We had access to see other animals, they have wallaby’s and a lot of birds of prey. There was 3 shows to see them in flight which very informative. Loved it all. Would be amazing in summer.
