Unfortunately not first class . Firstly can I say staff were wonderful. We arrived 20 mins before departure there was nobody to take us to our seat. Finally we found our seat number to me disappointed as everyone else had a table that seated 4 we had a one that seated 2 so we’re a bit cramped. Breakfast was not hot and a bit dry. We were not served toast but were given white bread which was placed on the table, no plate. Plenty of tea and coffee. We won’t be returning Sorry

We spent a great couple of hours on the breakfast train trip.
The full English was excellent, the staff so helpful. Tea and coffee was refilled regularly.
The train was clean and reminded me of how 1st class travel used to be.
All in all well worth doing

Our two breakfasts on the Ebsay Breakfast Experience were cold. They took them away to be to be warmed but they were not much warmer when they returned. The gentleman used tongs to put the butter on the table for everyone but then put the bread on the table cloth. No plates straight onto the table cloth. Apart from these two issues we enjoyed the trip even with the rain (no ones fault) obscuring the view from the window. At halfway I cleaned the outside window for the return journey. Better.

Despite the rain we had a really enjoyable morning eating a lovely breakfast on the train. The staff were pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

Went on the breakfast train it was very relaxing the breakfast was very nice well cooked no fat to choke on great couple of hours James our host was nice and accommodating enjoyed it so much going to do the afternoon tea train all in all a good experience the steam train was great
