Really good; the sounds appear continuous in that you can’t hear where the loop sample starts and ends. Also it fades out gently on the timer mode, so you’re not disturbed by a sudden shut off. It works a bit too well actually as I keep nodding off when this is on in the background! We actually bought one so my daughter can drown out noises from her university accommodation and we were so pleased with it, we bought another one!

Had this little machine now for about 6 months, and have to say it is really good, there are loads of different sounds it has stored to play and they aren’t obvious that they are a on a loop, we like the rainforrest loop, so does the baby so that’s the main thing for us.
There are so many choices I’m almost positive there would be one that you and child liked.
The device is nice and compact it can easily fit on shelfs floors etc. although the cable is pretty short around the 1.5m long so you will need a socket near by. The cable is a jack style into the machine so unless you have an adapter or a longer cable then you’ll need to keep it near a plug. Having said that the volume does go almost unnecessarily loud, as in no one would be able to sleep with as loud as it goes, so cable length isnt really a problem. having said that the controls allow for a lot of adjustment so finding the sweet spot is easy.
The buttons and build do feel nice and premium with a child friendly feel too.
overall a great purchase has helped my daughter fall asleep every time, both me and my wife are very happy with this purchase and at such a reasonable price too we are happy with it and would definetley buy it again and would recommend to anyone trying to get their baby to sleep

Not sure who would find a dripping trap or a slow ticking grandfather clock soothing, but we’re all different!
It took me a while to find the sweet spot of volume. At first I had the device too loud and it woke me around 4am when my sleep cycle must be at its lightest. The ‘Brown noise’ (deeper than white nose) is the one that I found most helpful.
I would’ve really appreciated a function where I can set a timer for this to activate at a certain time (in my case, 5am, when my neighbours wake me up each day with their inconsiderate slamming of cabinet doors on our adjoining wall. As it doesn’t have this function, I have to have it on all night.
I did consider using a timer plug with this, but that also won’t work as the device needs to be manually switched on using its on-off switch.
A advance timer function would really make this device the perfect machine for me!
So one star off for that, but otherwise, I really love it.

I bought the sound machine to help me sleep. Although you have plenty of sounds to choose from, it doesn’t work for me.
I have tried to return it but the product is not for returning. Be careful when shopping! Think if this will really help you for the purpose you are looking forward.

This creates a loud background noise which drowns out noise from elsewhere; you get used to this white noise and ‘tune it out’ along with any other noise it is masking. This phenomena is very effective against consistent noises, unusual noises like doorbells/smoke alarms etc still blast through
This requires a USB power supply, so you are going to need a USB socket or an adaptor. It does not have batteries, so when it is unplugged it will not work
It can lay flat with the speaker pointing up or stand up with the speaker pointing forward. The power cable lays flat in a recessed well underneath.
Push button controls, just keep pushing until you find a volume and sound that drowns out the neighbour’s noise – it is not really a matter of liking the noise, you will be ignoring it soon enough.
The selected timer option is shown by a small led revealing 1, 2 or 3 hour operation or a continuous mode. If you are using this to get to sleep consider the continuous option; although your mind ‘tunes out’ the white noise; if it suddenly stops, the abrupt change can wake you

Literally im telling you if you need white noise to sleep this is the thing for you. I used a fan to sleep and now swapped over to this little box. Lots of sounds, Volume, just a nice purchase!

Updating 12/18/2022. A year in, this sound machine is really driving me up the wall. A very annoying squeaky little repetition that I had only briefly noticed when it played specific tracks has now become a chronic problem I’ve detected in all the tracks that I usually play – the squeak repeats around every 15 seconds or less, and I think it is creating stress as now I find myself sitting there just waiting for it. So it definitely loops and quickly becomes a distraction once you notice it. Sadly, this will be heading for the tech recycling depot.
I also own an ASTI Sound&Sleep that never loops and has no defective squeaking issues, but did not feel like investing that much in another unit for use in another room, which is the reason that I decided to buy this cheap-y unit. So as a compromise, I’ve just ordered a Lectrofan EVO which I believe is also an ASTI offering. The Lectrofan brand has been around for a long time. It has many positive reviews, was recommended by a wonderful blogger whose opinions I trust, and it costs much less than the Sound & Sleep. I’m sure it will prove to be a far superior sound machine without the high price tag of the ASTI.

Loved this right out of the box. It’s tiny, solid black, and square, a nice, unobtrusive, minimal and clean design. It includes white, pink, pink/brown and a brown noise track, and for many of the others sounds, they offer different levels/types of sound, like a little rain or a heavier one, a little fire, a medium fire, or a wildfire. I am not sure about that 32 levels of volume claim; but it will get loud enough so that I don’t hear the sound of car doors slamming outside on the street all day long, and the quality of the sound is pretty great considering it’s low price tag. I first ordered a Homedics sound machine that, despite it’s insanely high ratings, had the most awful sound quality on each of the measly six options, which grated on the ear and was pretty hard to imagine anything being lulled to sleep listening to that harsh static. Unlike a very similar one from Magicteam, this does not have an unattractive blue stripe and goes well with anything. A thoughtful little booklet accompanies the unit, which lists out all of the sounds it offers. Scroll through using the forward/backward buttons. Coming from someone who uses the much costlier Adaptive SoundTechnologies Sound+Sleep machine, I was happily surprised that I could get such a good sound quality of something so much cheaper.

Hilft mir sehr beim Einschlafen. Es gibt sehr viele verschiedene Geräusche, aber im Endeffekt legt man sich doch auf einen fest. Man kann es so einstellen, dass es in einer, zwei oder drei Stunden von selbst ausschaltet. Die hellen Funktionsleuchten lassen sich ebenfalls mit einem langen Knopfdruck auf die Uhrtaste ausschalten.
Mit einer Powerbank betrieben läuft es wochenlang bei täglicher länger Nutzung.
Die Lautstärke lässt sich einstellen, wobei meines Empfindens nach dürfte die kleinste Stufe gern noch etwas leiser sein, denn nachts wenn sonst alles ruhig ist wirkt es doch (je nach gewähltem Geräusch) recht laut.
Klare Kaufempfehlung, ich schleppe das Teil immer mit mir durchs Haus und genieße z. B. Vogelzwitschern am Tag und nutze es jede Nacht mit meinem persönlichen Favoriten, Grillenzirpen.

Si vous aussi vous entendez ce que regardent les voisins, ou n’aimez pas être réveillé à 5h par leur pas lourd sur le sol, un ptit coup de bruit blancs (il y en a plusieurs dans la boîte) et hop on oublie leur existence. Il a d’autres bruits relaxants, mais je ne m’en sers pas personnellement.

I love this I it bought for my daughter to help block out any noises and it certainly does. Can’t hear anything over the rain setting and it’s really soothing love the fact it’s continously Playing too not on a timer which it does have andyou can set if you prefer. Loads of different sounds to choose from too would definitely recommend.
