Bought for a bit of lockdown fun for my bored family.
I’ve been interested/obsessed with recipes and cooking for over 30 years so I hoped to find one or two interesting things, even if just gimmicky to entertain everyone.

What I didn’t expect was three years later to still be referring to a book I bought on a whim.

We have a lot of annoying food allergies in this house which always excludes the majority of recipes but even so there are some real winners for my lot in this book.

I still regularly make – The Felucian Garden Spread which is IMO (when loosened a bit) a better version of houmous, Pitmasters choice (I use a LOT less sugar and half pork half sausage meat for a breakfast treat with poached eggs or chorizo beans), Yobshrimp noodle salad, the Pikobi eggs are well loved by everyone (although I have to omit the miso for some family members) and the Nerfdust (Nerfsteak seasoning) is such a hit I’ve had to mix some up for relatives who constantly ask for a refill.

Glossy book, nicely photographed, solid hardback made to last so worth the price tag.

So yerp this book is a lovely surprise.

A gift for daughter who loves it, fan of sci-fi and fantasy. Lots of easy to follow recipes.

We love going to WDW but as we are British not a chance this year, so we can try a ronto wrap I’ve bought this for my Star Wars loving OH for Christmas, it’s in there so possibly ronto wraps for Boxing Day ? Good size book excellent value.

    4. Richard G Flowers

Nicely presented, with an array of interesting and unusual looking meals.

    5. L.N.Styles

This is absolutely stunning, the whole thing is written in character and the food looks gorgeous. My 9 yr old loves Star Wars and cooking so this was a fabulous find. Really impressed!

This is a fun book with loads of ideas for food and drink, as long as you can get the stuff (some of it is referenced in American – chocolate Graham Cracker crumbs???) you should be fine.

Everything is really quick and easy, and each recipe comes with a prep and cook time, there is a hand conversion chart at the very back to help you convert cups to metric etc. There’s also a section on Dietary considerations to help you know if it’s vegan of Gluten Free.

The quality of the book is really good and the pages feel thick, and it seems like it’s gonna last around the kitchen.

It has sections on Sides and Snacks, soups and Stews, Bread, Mains and Deserts and Drinks.

Although it may appear to be a kids book, it really isn’t aimed at children, although they would have a blast making the breads I would expect.

This is a proper cook book, with a great selection to choose and try, with a Star Wars twist.

    7. Christoph Z.

There’s a lot of interesting and innovative recipes, we’ve been having fun making and adapting them. Pictures are also included with all the recipes, which really helps.

Good book, my only problem with it is the fact a lot of the recipes require ingredients I have never heard of and that you can’t purchase from a normal supermarket. A bit sad about this but overall it is a great book

    9. Cantankerous

While this was almost a joke purchase for my cousin’s husband (a bit of a star wars nut) when delivered here it turned out to be a surprisingly well made and well thought book.

A range of different recipes, good meta information (difficulty, time), clear instructions and well presented photography.

I would recommend (but admittedly on presentation and readability, I’ve not cooked with it myself, that is happening in a village far far away).

    10. Rafah

Não testei nenhuma receita ainda, mas achei que todas dão uma boa imersão no universo de Star Wars

    11. Melanie Zavala

El regalo perfecto para un fan de Star Wars al que le encante cocinar

    12. Jarad

Some fun recipes. About to try some dinner parties with the recipes. Too bad it isn’t a little more healthy

A must for Star Wars fans who also love Disneyland and enjoy experimenting with new recipes. My family received this book for Christmas and decided to host a judged cook-off. Categories were beverage, appetizer and main course. The invited judges took their role seriously, and were asked to rate the entries using a point system as well as provide detailed comments.
The contestants had fun selecting recipes, shopping for ingredients, cooking, and presenting photogenic entries using the photos in the book as inspiration.
The winner was a novice cook, who now has much more confidence in the kitchen. The contestants plan to schedule another cook-off soon.
I enjoyed the recipes so much, I bought a copy of the book for myself!
