This game provided lots of entertainment for a large family gathering at Christmas time. We split into groups to work out the clues & thoroughly enjoyed playing

Ok – no, he didn’t do it and there is no butler anyway…..
I bought this for my wife as she generally likes puzzles and games. We played it as a group of 5 and got through it in about 50 mins. It just wasn’t quite what we expected. We thought it would be more of a story taking us from one clue to the next but actually it was a series of nine clues that each gave a number as an answer and then you checked online at the end if you have found the right numbers. The clues themselves vary in difficulty and type but felt strangely disconnected from the opening narrative. The story got kind of lost as a result. Also – it needs more copies of the clues if you are working in a larger group. A bit disappointing really…..and my wife absolutely hated it….

Bought this for my wife as she has been talking about doing an escape room but we have 2 young children so childcare is difficult. So was browsing for some Xmas ideas and this came up and it was perfect. Kids put to bed on new years eve at home and me, wife, father in law, brother in law and his partner all started the game. Well packaged and playing items really well designed. Got really stuck to start with then realised there are clues! Once we got a few we were flying and with the help of the clues (and some reassurance from them) we managed to solve the puzzles. Recommend for those at a special occasion and looking for a group activity.
