For reference I purchased the jurassic park version and it was £25, the light is kind of what I was expecting to be honest which wasn’t much however I’m still mainly disappointed about the durability of it.
When this arrived the box was a bit ripped and not great which is the first put off especially if this was a gift as I can imagine this is in a lot of cases, luckily i bought this for myself so it didn’t matter.
Secondly on opening it I thought that it felt flimsy and cheap and had some slight damage to the part that the product packaging didn’t cover, I considered an exchange at this point but thought I wouldn’t be too bothered about the damage once the novelty of the light wears off and it’s a regular sighting in the house…
Then I plugged it in… no light, found the button … again like a flimsy button on a cheap china pound shop toy … again no light, plugged it out and back in… again nothing, twisted the wire about and finally it came on but it easily goes off if moved, it’s like when your charger for your phone is broke or a cheap china charger and you have to mess with it to get it charging, luckily there is also an option to use batteries, the light when it comes on is underwhelming it could be brighter and be more consistent (dull in some areas)
3rd if you are like me and seen this advertised elsewhere and seen images of it coming off the wall on a kind of bracket on the side of it, this is not that, the light is identical but there is no bracket with it meaning it can’t be mounted on the side like on images online, there is however holes on the back to put it flat on the wall.
I’ve given it 3 stars because I do still think it’s a nice design (visually because it’s the original Jurassic park sign) and although these clearly won’t last long as a light (if at all) it still looks ok as a sign and won’t exactly being picked up to feel how cheap it feels.
I feel this is more a £15 item.
I was going to order the resident evil one however it’s £30 and if this one is much to go by I think I will wait to see if it ever drops to at least half, to sum it up as advice, if when you see this light it’s on offer for much cheaper than the £25-£30 current price it’s ok as what it is … a bit of novel merchandise, if it’s £25-£30 still I would wait to see if it drops 🙂

Picked up the Jaws Light for a friends birthday. Tried it out to make sure it was working and immediately got back on Amazon to order myself the Jurassic Park Light. Light weight but appears to be constructed well. Wish it was a couple dollars cheaper but well worth it for fans.

Love it, love it, love it….. ,maybe enough said! I will go a little deeper, its a light up umbrella corp logo that you hang on your wall, can be battery or usb cable powered, I use the latter as I leave it on most of the time. It lights up nicely, but is more ornamental than a functional light, about the size I expected and just what I wanted. Perhaps a little overpriced but appeals to the nerd in me far too much to minus a star, so I give it a hearty five stars and a full reccomend.

The front logo was not secured at all, so when I went to put it in an upright position, the logo fell out and ripped 2 cords with it and the light doesn’t work. I just got it, TODAY. Broken products, save your money.
