I had never seen the need to buy a version other than the original until I saw this one, it’s fabulous. I had recently begun reading Roald Dahl stories to my 3 and 5 year olds and had been wanting to buy monopoly to try and play with them, so though this would be a lovely combination of the two.
It works exactly like the original game, the only differences are the names of the stops which are based on Roald Dahl characters and stories, and the cards in the middle are called Golden tickets and Wonka bars (which my kids love). The houses and hotels are instead factories.
The quality feels just as good as the original, we and the kids love it.

When it comes to monopoly I like it to be in great condition. Upon arrival, it looked wonderful nothing wrong with the box when I opened the box to check inside the yellow plastic had been broken which can be very dangerous. Other than that the game itself was great.

Feels a little weird buying the characters, but it’s a real cross generational themed set that all the family can relate to.
Really enjoyed using it. Good for kids maths skills & basic economics too 👌

I love Monopoly and I love the Road Dahl books and films. So does my son lol, so I had to suprise him with this for his birthday.
He loves it. So do I.
Only thing would say is the choice of silver characters/players that you can choose from could of been better. I always choose the books lol. 📚 they should have made a golden ticket for Charlie and the chocolate factory one (it’s a sweet) . Or a slice of cake for matilda (ots the books) James am the giant peach is fine. Its a peach. The rest I don’t even remember what they are atm.
Also the free top trumps card you get is more like a fact file one, and not an actual playing card.
Either way I’d say get it. It’s still a really good game. Get them Road Dahllas up.
