I bought this for a present and it is reasonable well made 4/5 but sadly the leather is a bit smelly 3/5 I am going to have to rub essential oils on it I do understand that the leather smell is natural but it’s a gift and definitely should not be offensive 😕 the pen is a cheap biro and completely useless

When you open up the box it come in the smell of leather fills your nostrils, it’s amazing! The leather itself is very soft and of good good thickness. The paper is a high quality, unbleached and allows for smooth writing. It looks and feels bespoke, hand bound, old world perfection. This is going to make a perfect journal and I’m sure I’ll be a life long buyer.

This is one of the best leather notebooks I’ve used,the leather is really good quality,so is the paper,it’s really good at giving that vintage feel,the lines on the paper also aren’t super sharp so it looks aesthetically pleasing,I also use a very think fountain pen and the pages never bleed,will definitely be ordering another on when this one is full

Honestly wasn’t expecting the quality to be so great as it’s off Amazon but this really wowed me.
As you can see I’m using this as a journal to capture all my ideas and interests down.
The leather is nice thick and good quality, it has a nice leather smell to it. The tie can be wrapped around twice and nicely be secured at the back.
The pages quality is what I was most pleasantly surprised with. It’s so thick and good quality, it’s got that nice vintage stain on it. And as you can see from the video, the ink doesn’t bleed through. I’m using 0.5 and 0.7 fineliner tips to write in and on the title page I used a permanent marker, nothing bleed through to the other side.
Highly recommend for travel journals or scrapbooks ideas.

Really lovely product, received yesterday, paper thickness is perfect and ink doesn’t seem to bleed through. Plenty of pages to be worth the price. Leather binding is really high quality and comfortable to write in.
Packaging is pretty standard for leather product, has a plastic film in addition to fabric cover and box but as it is a paper product plastic is probably necessary to keep things clean.

I love this journal! It is very good quality! Especially the paper!! It is thicker and nice to write on with a “older” look to it. There is a spot on the top for the date and it lays flat nicely because of its design! Not only that, it came with a fairly nice writing pen as a gift! I will definitely be ordering from this company again!!
