This is a great product, our only problem was that the practice bowl was too hard to break and when we did after many attempts it broke into many pieces, we bought another and it worked really well.

Mix small amounts it will go off fast. The hardener smells god awful but when the resin all sets the smell goes away. Bonds within about 15 min and you aren’t getting the pieces apart. Great stuff

These were owned by my great grandmother who gifted these to me when she passed. When moving, my mother accidentally decapitated them by dropping the box they were in 😞
I bought this kit to see if i could fix them and encorporate kintsugi.
Well it worked, they’re finally fixed!
It feels like their heads are on pretty solid and they now match the other two that weren’t decapitated haha

Bought it for a gift so I can’t say about the quality of the product (yet), but it is all well and neatly packed inside the little box. I was a little bit surprised about how small the box is, you can see looking at the picture that it almost fits in my hand, but I really like the overall look, presentation and design of the box. Overall I think it is a good choice and good for money.

I’m a huge fan of Kintsugi and even have it running through my business cards (my business has a Japanese name). Having had a go myself, using this kit, the masters of Kinstugi get my utmost respect.
The kit comes nicely presented but I encountered several issues…
The bowl was really hard to break. You have to wrap the bowl in the cloth and ‘gently’ tap it on a hard surface to break it. Well, it was impossible. I was having to use so much force I was concerned that a sharp shard would cut through the cloth and cut me. In the end, I used a roll pin.
Mixing the glue and glitter was really easy, putting the pieces back together – not so much. I use epoxy glue regularly so I know I used the correct amount (1:1) but it just wouldn’t cure and the pieces just kept falling off. In the end I gave up as I was making such a mess the bowl looked awful as you can see from the photo.
The kit would make a great stocking filler but sadly for me I was underwhelmed.

This is a really simple to use set, that can get you stuck into the skill right away with everything you need inside. The hardest part was breaking the practice bowl but that was entirely user error.
Once I’d wrangled the practice bowl successfully enough, I put the kit to work on a teapot that was the victim of a brutal postal journey. My indelicate hands might have caused more trauma by being a bit rough and heavy-handed, but it is back in the shape of a teapot with some extra cute shine in the end.
I’m really pleased with this kit. It had more than enough materials for this project even with being over generous in my measures and application at times.

Un super produit, très bon rapport qualité prix. Il est vraiment bon de s’entraîner avant sur une petite pièce (fournie dans le kit) pour prendre le coup de main, avant de passer sur de plus grosses pièces. Un conseil : une fois les pièces recollées avec de la résine qui déborde des fissures, recouvrez les lignes avec de la poudre dorée à l’aide d’un pinceau, l’effet est beaucoup plus naturel !
