I got this during black friday week so I paid £59.99 instead of £99.99. I agree with many other reviewers here, a really good quality knife. Lovely presentation box if you give this as a gift, excellent feel in the hand, sharp as a razor and looks great. What’s not to like!
As the title states, I’ve bought a few knives and knife sets over the past 50 years, including one set at this price point but none could match this.
For example, I just thinly sliced an onion and aubergine, both skin on, and it could have been butter so easily does it cut. Now to look up the best way to keep it sharp 👍

Beautiful pattern. Perfect balance (see second photo) came sharp but could have been sharper but a few runs on the final wheel of the chefs choice knife sharpener and it’s as sharp as a razor. The curve is perfect for proper knife use. Handle is very comfortable unlike the usual broom handle on Japanese knifes

Después de 4 meses de uso intensivo (el que se da en una cocina profesional), le pongo al cuchillo 5 estrellas de puntuación.
Vino súper afilado, y después de estos 4 meses de uso, sigue cortando de maravilla. En efecto no corta como el primer día, pero pasando la chaira recupera rápidamente el filo y vuelve a cortar bien.
Los únicos peros, no es de damasco original y el peso (bastante pesado al primer tacto, aunque a la hora de trabajar te acostumbras rápido y no lo notas).
Relación calidad-precio perfecta (lo compré en una oferta).
Sin duda muy recomendable.

Everything about the gneral build quality, heafty weight of the knife.. packaging… led me to feel it was a worthwhile investment.
Would have simply prefered a flawless example like many others had received… as to open the box and be welcomed by a flaw more visible than the pattern itself, caused instant regret for purchasing online.
The user manual states that the Knife is “free of manufacturing defects in material and construction”… so either that doesn’t include it’s cosmetic appearance, or Quality Control let this one slip by.

Ładne czarne opakowanie noża zniszczone, połamane krawędzie pudełka. Całość była zapakowana tylko w papierową kopertę. Zupełna porażka a miał być to prezent. Nawet opakowanie z kremem potrafi być lepiej zabezpieczone przed uszkodzeniem niż taki drogi nóż.
