The citrus is strong with this one. I’m a big fan of Tanqueray Rangpur and Opihr Black Lemon gin and this one beats them both. The nose is very citrus and the description is perfect. The juniper blends with the orange and tea so well. Absolutely one of my favourite gins now. A real treat

I’m not a gin lover but my hubby and father-in-law both are – Silent Pool and Bombay Sapphire are popular gifts. I initially bought this for hubby to try out and he loves it! He also loves the bottle and packaging design (he has fond memories of holidays in Tobermory, which is one of the reasons I thought I’d get it). As he’d enjoyed it so much, I purchased some for my lovely father-in-law, and it was a big hit. The presentation box makes it a nice gift too. I’m told it has a lovely flavour (I’m taking their word for it!)
