I’ve read the reviews on this product, and I’ve seen other products that so similar.
Considering I wasn’t able to find any other devices that test soil fertility, I can’t really say anything on that.
However, it does seem the record changes as they happen (I use aquarium water for watering the plants) and that changes the moisture levels and fertility.
It even records the light produce with a grow light.
It may not be that accurate (I honestly cannot verify without buying other products), but at least it keeps me on top of checking the plants.
And the plant database they have is quite extensive (and useful to know).

Gives me all the information that I need to maintain healthy plants. The Bluetooth communication was easy to set up on my iPhone and always logs back in when app is activated and without any glitches. With a search it’s easy to find and load plant information and the recommended levels for monitoring. This device has made my life so much easier and I will be buying more, so that all my plants can be monitored.

I noticed some of the bad reviews before ordering but went ahead as I couldn’t find any alternatives after extensive search. First one I ordered in August has been working fine although sometimes makes me question its accuracy. Also, it’s not super easy to update from even 3m distance. Second device I ordered for another plant, immediately stated that its been registered to another device even thought it looked brand new. It only worked for few hours and then stopped working. I opened it and replaced the battery but same thing happened again and again. It just ghosts from my device list. App is ok (compared to other Chinese ones) but not the most user friendly. I give points for the app and the one that is somewhat functional but the second device is a total failure.
So try your luck if you need such a device, otherwise keep your money and try to find / innovate an alternative.

I got one and found it helpful, it measures light and I can see it changing when I move it around, measures some moisture (only top 2 inches) and the fertiliser feature is really helpful. Some of my plants are really really happy now.
What I don’t like is how much they cost, particularly given my next gripe:
I bought 3 and one has the same issue many other buyers have- it’s already allocated to another user.
I tried for 2 weeks to take it over and it would, but after two weeks I can’t get it to respond at all. Im returning it.
Shame because it makes for more shipping and trash.
I’ll buy more because they are helpful when they work.
The company needs to do better quality control or make them more affordable for the hassle of 1 in 4 needing to be returned (those stats are purely based on mine and mine alone direct experiences)

easy to use and lets you know when to water the plants

I bought 2 of these to manage some newly-acquired and rather temperamental house plants. The first sensor I bought worked fine and immediately started sending data. The second sensor kept throwing Bluetooth errors and refused to send anything apart from temperature data. A quick return and swap from Amazon, the third sensor is also working fine.
The data quality is fine, although moisture and conductivity ratings can vary wildly. Temperature is highly dependent on direct sunlight — if your plant is indoors and out of direct sunshine, it’ll be reasonably well calibrated but if you move your plant outside, it’ll routinely register a temperature +10C over the ambient air!
The app is a little buggy, has permission instructions that were superseded several versions of Android ago — but otherwise does an ok job. I pipe this data into Home Assistant, so don’t need to worry about the app apart from the initial setup.
In short, these are…adequate? They are too expensive for the lack of consistency (both sensor data and device quality) and the stale app, but for people that had a couple of houseplants they want some basic data from, they’re perfectly adequate — but if you want to use these in a greenhouse or have some expensive plants/bonsai, avoid.

There is no support for this item. The email address is listed in the app no longer exists, there’s socials have been a inactive for years.
My device which you think is unique to me, it would seem like someone also has a device with the same serial number. Every time I went to read the device I had to re-pair it because it was owned by another account.
On more than one occasion after re-pairing it I was able to see the other persons plants and stats and had to re-link my own plant
