It is an excellent present for stone lovers or to keep your kids busy. It is little bit hard to dig but the ourcome is nice. Stones are very cute and the process is enjoyable. My daughter loved it. Box came safe, without damage. Highly recommended.

I got this for my 7 year old son for some screen free entertainment on. a day at home. We’ve done similar kits before and it’s always best to do them outside as they can get messy, this one was no exception.
My son really enjoyed this kit and made up a whole imaginary story around it while he was doing it, it kept him busy for a good couple of hours, there was a nice selection of gems to find of varying sizes, a book to ID them and the little storage bag was a cute extra.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because the chisel wasn’t great and the set didn’t include a hammer but we have a child sized one to use so it wasn’t an issue for us.

My 2 yr old grandson was enthralled with discovering the stones, he’s into rocks right now. Stones were much tinier than expected, we knew it was above his age level, so we just discovered by hammering the brick and put stones out of his reach before cleaning up.

My daughter spent hours with this over two days, she totally loved the challenge and the findings! The gems are a good size and lovely colours. She liked the smooth round rose quartz and the sparkly amethyst the most. Highly recommended if you want something where kids can engage themselves for a good while plus having a sense of achievement and gratification 😊 probably not the last time we got this. Great as a present!

5 and 6 year old had lots of fun digging this. The gemstones were of good size and colours. Handy little velvet pouch to store stones in. Magnifying glass not great. But over all a good buy for the cost

This kit is fun! I added water so it would not be so powdery, but it is plenty muddy! I received 21 stones, but they were not pictured on the box or in the gemstone guide. I would purchase it again just to see if I can get all of the stones advertised. I did not get the pyrite, desert rose, or sodalite. I’m new to gemstones and crystals. I will have to do some research to see what I actually found.

This was bought as a gift and kept the recipient occupied for hours. Was bigger than other similar sets purchased previously from other suppliers and had plenty of gems/stones in it. May require some adult supervision/assistance but was very well received.

I bought this for a first grader. He loves rocks. He is very smart. And his mom said it was a perfect gift for him. He loved it!
