Got as Xmas present for 9 yr old daughter and she loves it. She wants to do a new one each day. Simple and easy to do science experiments, but really fun and interesting. The equipment is really good. She wants to do a different one each day. We have done about 4 of them so far. Great present

It’s a bit difficult for her to do it fully independent, she requires some help with instructions, but she is very enthusiastic about each experiment. It’s hard to stop doing experiments in the evening.

We were fully prepared to be a little disappointed in this kit, since past experiences have told us that the photos over sell the quality and sometimes quantity of what is inside.
We were happily proved wrong!
Everything inside is clearly bagged and labelled, the plastic beakers and equipment is really robust, and Goblinkid never wants to take the googles off!
If you buy this for a 4yo, expect to have to help out A LOT! we got it for Goblinkid’s 8th birthday and the instructions are clear enough that he can do most of it independently and understand some of the actual science when reading the booklet.
He’s done about 20 experiments so far, and they have all worked! (The only crystal growing kit to ever have done so 😅)

The sample was requested to give as a gift to a 7 year old in a few weeks time. We are familiar with Japace wooden toys and children we have given these to have really enjoyed them. The description and video on the science lab makes us confident that the recipient is going to love this. The review will be updated if the experience is not as good as we anticipate.
