Anne is a lovely woman and hosts an unforgettable experience. She is very knowledgeable and accommodating and makes the whole thing a pleasure. It’s not rushed and short of taking them home, you can’t get closer to the alpaca’s. A small amount for an amazing time.

Stan was like you would expect a sloth to be, sleepy and a bit shy. The keeper was knowledgable and friendly, we got to feed him various different kinds of food (blueberries were his favourite). He was hiding in an awkward position and refused to come out until we left but you can’t complain about a sloth moving slowly?! The Food was already prepared So we didn’t get to do that. The zoo insisted we buy an adult ticket as the boys were under 16 so it got quite expensive. Great day overall

After a lot of messing about exchanging emails and awaiting replies I finally got a date and time for my encounter. On the day I had been told to meet 15minutes early to sign documents. The keeper arrived after 4oclock,15 mins late so already late into my half hour encounter. Food was already prepped which was part of the day’s experience. Unfortunately the sloth was extremely tired and stayed awake to eat 1 piece of fruit from a stick. Expected more for money. Not organised well at all.

The experience was made out to look like you get see him hanging around….when actually he was in a corner surrounded by giant tortoises …he ate a couple of peices of pepper and didn’t move from the corner..
I guarantee that anyone who books this will be absolutely disappointed…
A right waste of the £75 booking fee, weekend in a hotel and diesel money…
Would not recommend in a million years…
Worst Christmas present I’ve ever bought my wife, she was so upset…

Felt a bit abandoned on arrival when given a map and just pointed in the right direction. I have huge difficulties with directions and managed to get lost twice! No other visitors on the zoo, quiet eerie. Finally met Stanley’s keeper, who has already prepared his snacks so this is not part of the experience! Given lots of information about Tanket and time to feed him treats from a stick. Magical to be so close to this gorgeous creature. Stanley and his keepers get 5*, experience overall 3*
