My son wanted the big version of this but has nowhere to put it and £700+ was simply too expensive so this seemed like a nice alternative.
So as a christmas present it was received well and his eyes lit up as soon as it was opened.
The packaging is big and sturdy (it took the best part of 4 sheets of gift wrap specially purchased for this with star wars Christmas themed characters) and beautifully illustrated with good images of the completed model (not sure if its a photograph or CGI but suspect the latter) I also gave a lighting kit for this model and look forward to seeing it when it is completed.
There are many hours of assembly needed and I will return when he has completed it to report further.

The Millennium Falcon from “The Force Awakens” is a great addition to the collection.
A really nice build and I love the way the top opens up so you can see inside. Also great for playability.
Comes with 6 mini figures plus a D-0.
Lots of detail and moving parts to grab your interest.
Again, really enjoyed this build.

Get a lot for your money we bought when at a very good price during Black Friday. It is taking my son a while to build as very complex and can get confusing. Half way built he’s had it for two weeks, looking good though!

Bought this as a surprise present for my son, he’s not built it yet but his face on Christmas morning was beautiful, a grin as wide as the Atlantic, a enthusiasm and excitement that has been a miss for a while. It’s amazing how easy it is to make a 30 year olds day, the big kid that he is. Perfect

My son is absolutely thrilled, excellent quality and size.

I got this for my partner as a birthday present to add to his very loved Lego set. He loved building (although made a few mistakes along the way which ended up in a few rebuilds🙈). But the set is very cool and comes with several figures, very much worth it!

Acquistato per regalarlo a mio marito, appassionato di Lego e di Star wars, lo ha molto apprezzato. Lo ha montato in più riprese, e istruzioni sono semplici da seguire ma sono davvero tanti pezzi. Uno splendido oggetto! Consigliato agli appassionati.

I’ve heard that some people didn’t like the apparent lack of details included in the set but for me personally it was ideal. I spent many happy hours modding it to my own liking

Big ship with lots of internal space for figures. Absolutely my favorite set I own.

Our expanding Star Wars collection is heavily played with on a daily basis. Personally I most like to add exotic ships and playsets to it. However my young apprentice prefers clone kit and of course the iconic ships of the heroes. Strangely enough we lacked a Millennium Falcon so far even though the Lego Star Wars range has produced quite a few iterations of the Correllian freighter over time. And I wasn’t planning to get one now, but I was tempted by it a steep, about 40% compared to the usual retail price. I’m afraid that eventually we’ll get a large UCS Millennium Falcon version as well, though for the moment we would lack space to keep it (and we already have the excellent big Hasbro Millennium Falcon). However for now this remains a fairly decent and much more affordable temporary solution. Also because it is both an iconic ship and a playlet in one that offers a quite a few play features.
The built of the 1351 piece set wasn’t too demanding, it took us about 4 hours though we completed it in several sessions during a school break. I usually sort and collect the pieces and my highly experienced set of young hands puts the model together. While I put the sticker in place – of this there are a few in this set.
The completed model is quite sturdy and opens up smoothly on top to reveal the interior and playset. Once the top panels are opened there are beds, chairs, a holochess table, the guns can be manned, the ramp can be lowered and there is a hidden cargo space. The ship also fires two missiles.
I would have a few points of criticism first of all its a scale model , so I find the cockpit a little narrow and does not flip open with a hinge. Secondly, the interior and exterior in particular is dotted with studs, that is perhaps what you can expect with a cheap child and play-focussed version. But it does look at little off compared to the beautiful and realistic recent models like the Razor Crest and the Mos Eisley Cantina and even next to the UCS Jawa trailer.
Lastly, the figure selection is average at best. We have countless of R2D2’s/C3PO’s and even a few DO’s no. The same goes for Finn and Chewbacca. So these could have been left out. Though I understand that as a cornerstone item in a kid’s Lego collection these figures would have to be in. On the other hand Lando in his old-age appearance is good and interesting. And the somewhat obscure Boolio is even better.
Despite all the complains about damaged boxes ours arrived in pristine condition, very carefully packaged. – Amazon Prime does know how to handle it.
